GradeLine is a local‑first Mac app. Core data stays on your device. There are no GradeLine accounts and no telemetry.

Optional AI assist features use your school or personal ChatGPT API key; requests are sent securely to the provider and your key is stored locally (you can remove it at any time).

Data Handling

• Core app features run locally and work offline.
• AI assist features use your ChatGPT API key. Relevant request data is sent to OpenAI to provide results. Your key is stored locally and can be deleted in settings.
• Backups and exports are under your control.

Support & Updates

Updates and bug fixes are provided at our discretion. District deployment support is available on request.
